The Company

Rodolfi Mansueto S.p.A., with 120 years of experience, is one of the oldest industry operating the transformation of tomatoes and its by-products, as tomato paste, chopped and crushed tomato, passata and tomato powder.

The company is located in the North of Italy, in the Parma area, the so-called “Food Valley", where in two productive plants (Ozzano Taro and Castelguelfo) more than 150.000 metric tons of fresh tomatoes get transformed.

The plant in Ozzano Taro is specialized in the production of chopped and crushed tomatoes, sauces and tomato powder, while the plant in Castelguelfo, thanks to its new aseptic technology system, is specialized in the industrial production of Pizza sauce, passata and tomato paste packed in aseptic bags in external drums.

The highest qualitative standard, the continuous updating of the technologies, and the research and development for new products, allow Rodolfi Mansueto S.p.A. to gain a leading role in the “Made in Italy" food sector, both in Italy and abroad, with its traditional brands Ortolina for retail sector, and Ardita and Alpino for the food service sector.

The acquisition of Von Felten, occurred in 2013, allows Rodolfi Mansueto SpA to diversify its production (which now includes dried vegetables, spray dry powders, and semi-finished products for the confectionery industry) and to consolidate its position in Italy and abroad.
